Attendance at The Willows
 

Regular attendance at school is vital to help children achieve and get the best possible start in life. Children who frequently miss school often fall behind. In fact, there is a strong link between regular school attendance and achieving good outcomes- Did you know that having an attendance rate of 80% is equivalent to missing a day a week!  As a parent/carer you are responsible for ensuring your child comes to school on time every day.  The Willows is a very supportive school and we strive for excellent attendance and will do our upmost to make sure all children get to into school.  We celebrate attendance with the children each week, with special reward assemblies termly. 

From September 2023 the school times will be:

Reception, Year 1 and Year 2

Gates open at 8.30am with doors opening at 8.35am. Gate closes at 8.45am and register will be taken in class.

Gates open at 3.10pm with doors opening at 3.15pm.

Nursery

Morning session: Gates open at 8.30am with doors opening at 8.35am. Gate closes at 8.45am and register will be taken in class. Gates will reopen at 11.40am for the session end at 11.45am.

All day: Start of the day as above. Gates reopen at 2.55pm for the day to end at 3.00pm

Afternoon: Doors open at 11.55am and session register to be taken at 12.00noon. Gates open at 2.55pm for the day to end at 3.00pm
